Consumer forums, also known as consumer courts, are specialized judicial bodies in India established under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (now updated to the 2019 Act). They aim to resolve disputes between consumers and businesses regarding defective goods, deficient services, unfair trade practices, or overcharging.                                                                                                             Consumer forums provide a simple, affordable, and speedy way for consumers to seek justice and ensure accountability.
