National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission

The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), set up in 1988 under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, resolves consumer disputes involving amounts over ₹2 crore. Located in New Delhi, it handles appeals from State Commissions and ensures protection against unfair trade practices, defective goods, and poor services. Its decisions can be appealed in the Supreme Court.
